This 'orrible little chap was an impulse buy off Ebay back in spring 2019. I didn't exactly know what it was, I just thought it was cute in a not-very-cute way. I named him Wibble.

Brother Lazarus, Plague Doctor

I painted Brother Lazarus' counterpart, Sister Hazel, back in July and at the time I said that I couldn't think of a more apt mini. Six months on, Lazarus is sadly still appropriate for the ongoing shitstorm that is Covid.

Zombies: Sarge

"Zombies (2)". That's Reaper's imaginative name for the pack of two minis I got at Brookhurst Hobbies back in August. As you might have guessed, there are two zombies in this pack, but I just painted one as the other has a ton of flash on it and I just couldn't be bothered. 

A Vamp for Vampifan

It's always a shock to hear of someone who's blog you've been reading on and off has died, and reading the final post of Vampifan — aka Bryan Scott — is an awful experience. Bryan was a horror fan, a prolific blogger for 11 years and loved miniatures, both painting them and playing games with them. 

Sinspawn

According to the Pathfinder Wiki, sinspawn are "emaciated horrors with unnaturally long arms and legs". I didn't know that when I saw it on the rack of Reaper minis at Brookhurst Hobbies back in August, only that it looks creepy and cool.

Urban Zombies 2

I'm not sure why these are called Urban Zombies as they look like they're from the Victorian era. Whatevs. It took me a while to like these enough to buy them as I've never been a fan of zombies with weapons. But during a undead-buying spree back in February I decided to splash out on them, and for once it wasn't to get free shipping.

Tinley, Female Wizard

Tinley wears all black all the time, listens to Disintegration* on repeat and decorates her bedroom with Sisters of Mercy posters. She really wishes she was called Isobel but her mum still calls her Tinley.

Sister Hazel, Plague Nurse

If anyone can think of a more apt mini to paint at this point in time, I'd love to hear it. Maybe a Plaguebearer wearing a MAGA hat?

Devil Girl, Supervillain

Devil Girl is from Reaper's range of superheroes/supervillains. She was an impulse buy as I thought the figure was really cool.
