Night Goblins archers and fanatics

I know I said in my last post that my next model was going to be something a bit more veggie, but I decided to hang on to that mini for Monster May(hem). So here are some more gobbos.

Night Goblins

Despite being totally into 40k back in the day, I still enjoyed seeing Citadel's fantasy figures in the 'Eavy Metal section of White Dwarf. Along with everything Chaos, I loved Night Goblins. They might be nasty little buggers, but there was a lot of character and humour to them. So you can probably guess what happened when I found these tiny terrors on Etsy.

Monster May(hem): Muccins

There's a rustling in the undergrowth that you can't identify. Peering closer, you see what looks like a mouth on legs standing in the tall grass. You just about manage to whisper "what the..." before you're swarmed by small creatures. All you can feel is teeth before darkness mercifully envelops you...

Gremlins

Baz, Kez and Tez are ready to cause some mayhem. The fourth member, Maz, was lost during the group's prolonged adventure in the fabled realm of Spaire Roomia and is badly missed as he had all the snacks.

Gellerpox Glitchling

This 'orrible little chap was an impulse buy off Ebay back in spring 2019. I didn't exactly know what it was, I just thought it was cute in a not-very-cute way. I named him Wibble.

Rose

rose hasslefree miniatures

There's a patch of wasteground on Beechwood Avenue where the old primary school used to stand until destroyed by a bomb on the afternoon of April 11, 1941.

Locals have long said that spot is haunted. Pedestrians say there's a cold patch as you walk past it. Kids dare each other to touch the walls, although few actually will. Dogs shy away from the area.

Some people even claim to have seen a small girl wearing a gas mask.

This is obviously rubbish.

But Rose is still waiting for her mummy.

Attic Whisperer

According to the Google: "This undead thing resembles a child's skeleton with the paws and grinning skull of a fox. It is gray and covered with cobwebs, and dust falls endlessly from its mouth. It holds a ragged stuffed child's toy, its eyes pierced by pins, in its skeletal, fox-like hands. The creature is dressed in a small sleeping gown that looks like it was partially burned in a fire, as if it were the remains of a child who had died in bed."

Blimey.
