Since reading Keith's No More Room In Hell after-action reports and checking out the awesome scenery he uses for his games, I've wanted to get a car to just... well, wreck, basically. I've read that 1/43 scale is best for 28mm minis, and with that in mind I picked one up from my local Dollar General.

Neglected but Not Forgotten: Post Apocalyptic Hunter
Ann's Neglected but Not Forgotten challenge has really spurred me to finish up older minis. While going through one of the many boxes of crap I've acquired thanks to this hobby, I saw a small grey figure stuck between some 30mm bases and realised it was one of my zombie survivors.

Fembruary: Destiny
Destiny was dragged to a fancy-dress party by her boyfriend Horace, who promptly abandoned her to chat up a couple of hot chicks. She stormed out only to discover herself in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Grabbing a gun off a dead cop, she's been dealing death ever since but she's saving one bullet for her now-ex.

Pulse
Pulse has adorned my header image since the day I launched PMPainting on its turbulent voyage of screaming and money. She was going to be my first entry in the Fembruary painting challenge, but then I had second thoughts; it would be pretty crap to kick off a challenge with a figure that wasn't specifically painted for it. So I rebased her (it only took me two years to get around to it) and here she is.

Horace "Action" Jackson
Horace was having a great time at a 70s-themed fancy dress party, getting down with the funky beats and chatting up two cool chicks. Suddenly the zeds invaded and since then he's been dispensing death with great vengeance and furious anger.

Hans, Post Apocalyptic Survivor
My post-apocalyptic/zombie survivors usually come in groups of four, but Hans is such a badass that I decided to post him on his own. This decision has nothing to do with the fact that I don't have three other survivor figures right now, oh no.

Zombie hunters part 3: A bit of a mix
Four more intrepid zombie hunters line up for your perusal. From left, say hi to Evie, Woolsey, Joanne and Taylor.

Zombie hunters part 2: This time they have guns
I've completed four more post-apocalyptic zombie hunters. From left we have Rex, Ebony, Madge and Barney. Unlike the previous team, these guys are armed with more than just baseball bats and chainsaws. Once again, three of them are familiar.

Zombie hunters part 1
Here's the four post-apocalyptic zombie killers I've assembled so far. From left we have Louise, Berkeley, Felicity and Ray. Three of them are vaguely familiar, for some reason.
These aren't a team in the sense I play tabletop games with them, although the more zombies and survivors I collect, the more I think I should do something with them. I thought I had more post-apoc/zombie-rising type figures but this is it, which is sort of disappointing. Still, there are loads more out there for me to buy and paint.
