Another brick in the wall

This showed up in the mail a few days ago, and I blasted through it in between doing Pulse's base. It was fun to paint and came out pretty well. I can't believe I completed a scenery piece in a couple of hours when last year I couldn't complete one in two months.

Pulse

Pulse has adorned my header image since the day I launched PMPainting on its turbulent voyage of screaming and money. She was going to be my first entry in the Fembruary painting challenge, but then I had second thoughts; it would be pretty crap to kick off a challenge with a figure that wasn't specifically painted for it. So I rebased her (it only took me two years to get around to it) and here she is.

Gellerpox Glitchling

This 'orrible little chap was an impulse buy off Ebay back in spring 2019. I didn't exactly know what it was, I just thought it was cute in a not-very-cute way. I named him Wibble.

Ruined Chapel

I bought this bit of scenery over two years ago. Debris of War is based in the UK but I got around the shipping charges by having it sent to my mum's house and picking it up when I went to visit her in August 2018. Believe me, I am not the only person thinking, "Hey, why didn't you do that for the Summer of Scenery challenge instead of faffing about with that cottage?"

Brother Lazarus, Plague Doctor

I painted Brother Lazarus' counterpart, Sister Hazel, back in July and at the time I said that I couldn't think of a more apt mini. Six months on, Lazarus is sadly still appropriate for the ongoing shitstorm that is Covid.

Horace "Action" Jackson

Horace was having a great time at a 70s-themed fancy dress party, getting down with the funky beats and chatting up two cool chicks. Suddenly the zeds invaded and since then he's been dispensing death with great vengeance and furious anger.

Carnage in the carrying case

First off, let me just say GAZE UPON MY NEW DESK AND WEEP, MORTALS!
