Thankfully, as he was a brand-new sculpt there wasn't too much in the way of flash and mold lines to carve off.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08624491160014232874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7720801445504663403.post-2703397586130156562021-06-11T21:09:11.862-04:002021-06-11T21:09:11.862-04:00That is a large metal miniature if I've ever s...That is a large metal miniature if I've ever seen one. I haven't tried one in a long time but I remember some ones I tried to paint in the early 2000's gave me fits! This oversized porker looks great and should make a fearsome foe on the tabletop!Kuribohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14142002129545901040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7720801445504663403.post-7730301025035181802021-06-11T19:12:51.517-04:002021-06-11T19:12:51.517-04:00Cheers, Keith! The serial killer model you mention sounds awesome, I'll have to look it up.

It's certainly a good feeling to get a model done and it looks the way you want, and I have to admit to having a "thank God that's over" feeling with a lot of my minis. But it's always worth it in the end.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08624491160014232874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7720801445504663403.post-80367202941466740402021-06-11T13:05:52.236-04:002021-06-11T13:05:52.236-04:00What a cool model! Spinespur made a similar model, IIRC, but it was just a serial killer who wore a pig's head, "for reasons of his own", not a full-blown mutant pig ogre. I can certaoinly sympathize with wnating to move onto other projects after doing one that takes a while (Cough...Blacksting...cough); but it is a pretty nice feeling when you're done and have something to show for your efforts, right? The Angry Piperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09929451913231828086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7720801445504663403.post-48194815058686860122021-06-10T17:14:42.026-04:002021-06-10T17:14:42.026-04:00You're right, they're trotters, I had a he...You're right, they're trotters, I had a hell of a time thinking of the correct word so just googled "do pigs have hooves?" and it said yes LOL! The random leg was probably sculpted as a snack for him, as pigs are Omnivores, and will eat meat when available, and are able to eat through the bone as well.Dave Stonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13398737478468720431noreply@blogger.com
